Women in villages of Uttarkashi. Officials from Police and Education Department of Uttarkashi, Govt.Of Uttrakhand
Project Summary:
In partnership with DivinPro, we undertook a project with the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development, Uttarkashi Govt. Of Uttrakhand to empower 1200 women in the hills by instilling a sense of period pride, imparting knowledge around personal and menstrual hygiene, they were also trained on the usage of and provided with menstrual cups. Officials from Police and education department of Uttarkashi were also part of the project.
