WASH Champions at Pink Toilets in Delhi

Project Summary:

To celebrate ‘World Toilet Day 2021’ SHF partnered with PVR Nest to empower WASH champions, women who are care takers at Pink Toilets in Delhi. WASH Champions were trained on the usage of Menstrual Cups and Menstrual Cups were provided to them. The aim of introducing menstrual cups to them was for them to become advocates of ‘Sustainable Menstruation’. WASH Champions were also sensitized on ‘How Periods Happen’ and 5Ps of Periods, with an idea to instill period pride in them.
