Women from Mirdard Community, Old Delhi
Project Summary:
Through our partnership with Second Act, we went on to empower women in Old Delhi’s Mirdard Community, a closed community where many taboos and myths prevailed. Through our session on menstrual hygiene management and training on the usage of menstrual cups, we addressed many myths and taboos with an intent to instil period pride among the women. Menstrual cups were also provided to them.
