Women and Girls at Signature Bridge Refugee Camp

Project Summary:

We at SHF initiated Project Shakti with an aim to empower women towards their own safety. At Signature Bridge Camp, along with our collaboration with Cuttlefish we trained women and girls on basic self defence and on the usage of Pepper Spray. Since the area that they live in is in the middle of a forest with constant invasion from people from other communities, pepper sprays were provided to them for them to be able to protect themselves.
